Help : STOCK : List and maintain stock en masse

  • Stock can be maintained in the product page, the statistics page, and best in the stock page as it allows listing the stock of all products at the same place. The stock page allows changing stock and also product's price and promotional price of up to 2 hundred products at once.
  • Depending on whether stock is counted globally or individually the stock page allows, in individual configuration, to separate the products between those with variants and those without variants.
  • If show stock of products with variants is active, the category tree is not visible, but stock of all variants is shown. The first table column contains the products' category name and when clicked opens the category. Additionally, the last table column shows the variants' options.
  • If show stock of products without variants is active, which is the default choice, the category tree is visible. Clicking on the root category lists stock of all products. Clicking on any other category lists stock of the category's products and also stock of all products contained in the category's sub-categories. Note: The total number of products, indicated at the bottom of the table, considers products with and without variants, but only products without variants are shown in the table.
  • 8 conditions to limit the listing:
    1) Allmeans all products where stock numbers are positive, nought, or negative
    2) Positivemeans any product where stock numbers are greater than nought e.g. 9, 15, 35
    3) Noughtmeans all products are out of stock. Stock value is 0
    4) Negativemeans any product where stock numbers are less than nought e.g. -7, -22, -45
    5) Equal to [ # ]means products where stock numbers match the number [ # ] e.g. 7
    6) Less than [ # ]means any product where stock numbers are fewer than the number [ # ] e.g. 9
    7) Greater than [ # ]means any product where stock numbers are more than the number [ # ] e.g. 4
    8) From...to [ # ] [ # ]means any product where stock numbers are from [ # ] to [ # ] e.g. 4 to 9
  • Stock is by default listed in ascending order but a click on descending reverses the listing.
  • The stock page shows by default 50 products. A selector allows to choose 10, 20, 50, 100, or 200 products per page.
